Ms. Aklea Whalen

Ms. Whalen has a Masters and Specialist degree in School Counseling from Georgia State University. She has been a School Counselor for 7 years, and has over 10 years of experience in the counseling field. She works with students with last names that begin with I-L.

Ms. Whalen is originally from New York, and has lived in Atlanta for almost 10 years. In her free time she enjoys scuba diving, hiking and kayaking. She also volunteers with her dog at local hospitals and schools doing pet assisted therapy.

One of the most gratifying things for Ms. Whalen is helping students be successful--academically, socially and personally. She welcomes your visits and contacts!
