Bob Basher

Coach Basher is going into his eigth year of teaching at PRHS. He is an interrelated special education teacher, who works in both resource and collaborative classrooms.

Before teaching, Coach Basher use to work in the film production industry, producing music videos and commercials. He also grew up working in the restaurant industry. Coach Basher went to high school in Connecticut, where he played football and baseball. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, where he played lacrosse.

Before moving to Georgia, Coach Basher started his high school coaching career over 20 years ago in New Milford, CT. Coach Basher feels fortunate to be part of every PRHS football playoff game in the short history of the school and hopes to be part of many more. Coach Basher also started the first lacrosse program in GCPS history and is the head coach of the boys varsity team, who happen to win the Gwinnett County Championship and Area 4 last year, while making it to the final eight of the AAAAA 2011 playoffs.
