Ms. Keisha Rogers

Ms. Rogers is the Acceleration Counselor at Peachtree Ridge. The goal of the Acceleration Counselor is to "move students forward" in achieving their goals and endeavors.





Duties and Responsibilities of the Acceleration Counselor:

-Counselor for all retained students
-Counselor for all dual enrollment students
-Scholarship Coordinator
-RTI liaison
-College and Career Specialist
-GIVE West counselor liaison
-12th grade PRIDE Coordinator
-PRIDE advisor for AM Maxwell/Grayson students

Education and Background:

-B.A. in Sociology/History: Benedict College
-M.S. in School Counseling: University of Tennessee @ Knoxville
-Ed.S in Counseling: University of Georgia
-4 years as a high school counselor
-Former Resident Counselor with Upward Bound
-Former Education Specialist with TRIO
-8 years combined experience

Office hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-2:30pm by appointment
College & Career Den Day: Fridays 8-11 and 12:30-2p
