 Mrs. Marsha Janofsky Mrs. Marsha Janofsky is the LSTC (Local School Technology Coordinator) at Peachtree Ridge. As the LSTC, she helps teachers use technology in the classrooms. Mrs. Janofsky also ooaches the Peachtree Ridge Girls Golf Team and is the sponsor of the Peachtree Ridge Hockey Club.
She divided her years in public education between Redan High School in Dekalb County and Norcross High School before coming to Peachtree Ridge in its inaugural year. Mrs. Janofsky also spent 18 years teaching in the corporate world, spending 13 years with Burroughs/Unisys Corporation in Customer Education and five years with Resumix/HotJobs delivering software training.
Mrs. Janofsky holds an Education Specialist from Georgia State University in Atlanta. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and a Masters of Education in Business Education, both from North Georgia College, in Dahlonega. A native of Atlanta, she is married to Matt and they have a son, Michael, who graduated from Peachtree Ridge in 2008 and now attends Georgia Southern University. Mrs. Janofsky is a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Johns Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta. She enjoys golfing, church activities, reading, watching her son and husband play baseball and ice hockey, and boating on Lake Burton in the summer. |
