 Dr. Rob Spencer Dr. Rob Spencer, originally from North San Diego County, graduated from San Marcos High School where he participated in football, wrestling, and baseball. He started his advanced learning at Palomar College located in San Marcos, CA. After two years, Coach Spencer transferred to the University of Kentucky on a cheerleading scholarship. A year later, he was offered a better scholarship opportunity with the University of Georgia. Dr. Spencer accepted the offer and transfered to UGA. This move put him closer to his father who lives in Warner Robins, GA. While attending the University of Georgia, Dr. Spencer completed his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, obtained a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and Behavior, and received his Doctorate degree in Physical Education and Sports Studies. He has been teaching now for 11 years and coaching for 21. Currently, Dr. Spencer serves as the Head Coach for the Varsity and JV Blue Pride competition teams. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he also teaches Health, Introcudtion to Life Fitness and Sports Medicine. Dr. Spencer has two children (Austin & Lexie) and a wonderful wife Molly, who he has been married to for 16 great years. |
