Meet our Trainers!
  Heather Peterman and Nick Long


Heather and Nick come to us from Gwinnett Medical Center, the official Sports Medicine provider for Gwinnett County Schools.   Students, family members and faculty and staff are encouraged to learn more about Gwinnett Medical Center and the extensive services and care they offer.

Heather Peterman


Heather earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Lees-McRae College in 2014 where she also ran cross country and track. Heather is a member of National Athletic Trainer’s Association and an ImPact trained athletic trainer. As an experienced athlete herself, Heather is passionate about caring for the students and faculty of Peachtree Ridge High School.


Nick Long –   M.Ed., ATC, PES, ITAT

Before graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011, Nick participated in a pre-season internship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. He then went to Valdosta State University to earn a Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Education, while working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Women’s Basketball, Cheerleading and Football teams. After Graduate school, Nick worked as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Hendrix College, serving as the primary Athletic Trainer for the Football and Men’s Lacrosse teams.
