Meet our Trainers!
Heather Peterman and Nick Spencer
Heather and Nick come to us from Gwinnett Medical Center, the official Sports Medicine provider for Gwinnett County Schools. Students, family members and faculty and staff are encouraged to learn more about Gwinnett Medical Center and the extensive services and care they offer.
Heather earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from Lees-McRae College in 2014 where she also ran cross country and track. Heather is a member of National Athletic Trainer’s Association and an ImPact trained athletic trainer. As an experienced athlete herself, Heather is passionate about caring for the students and faculty of Peachtree Ridge High School.
Zach Spencer is originally from Elmira, NY. He earned his bachelors in athletic training from Alfred University in New York. While attending Alfred, he was able to gain experience working with Division III football, softball, soccer, basketball and track. He also obtained experience working with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
After obtaining his Bachelor’s, he obtained his Master’s in Science at California University of Pennsylvania with an emphasis in performance enhancement and injury prevention.
He is currently an athletic trainer at Peachtree Ridge High School and has been with GMC since September 2013.
